PERRINE ARCHITECTURE WAS INCORPORATED IN 1989 WITH DIRECTORS JEAN-MIC AND MERCEDES PERRINE BRINGING TO THE ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE THEIR DIVERSE BUT SYNERGETIC BACKGROUNDS.
The achievements of Perrine Architecture have been well documented through numerous local, national and international publications. Over almost 20 years since 1989, this architectural practice has created some extraordinary projects, many of which are landmarks within their precincts
Perrine Architecture has been acknowledged by its peers and by industry and community organisations through numerous awards, including the highest achievement of construction industry, the Construction Council of Australia’s supreme award for excellence in 1995, for the Colonnade in Subiaco and the City of Perth’s inaugural heritage award in 2005 for the synthesis of heritage and cutting edge architecture at the Box Building in Perth’s CBD.
In 2005 Jean-mic Perrine was nominated by STM magazine, and the Sunday Times, as one of the 50 most influential West Australians of this generation.
2007 saw the company create the seminal PERRINEPOD, of which Wikipedia spoke eloquently.
The Right Honourable Lisa Scaffidi – The Lord Mayor City of The City Perth says;
“Perrine’s work is visionary and yet extremely functional. Jean-mic is able to view a project in its entirety by realising the (often equal) importance of the surrounding precinct(s), and the significance of the adjoining street scape in relation to overall scale and context. The city is a much more sophisticated place because of his works”
Warren Kerr – Royal Australian Institute of Architects [past] National President says;
“On behalf of the RAIA, it is my pleasure to provide these words of introduction to attest to the standing and credentials of Jean-mic Perrine of Perrine Architecture. Jean-mic is highly regarded as a senior practitioner of the architectural profession. He has completed an enviable track record of projects in a range of fields including single and multi-residential, commercial, public, civic, worship and liturgical buildings. His buildings have won MBA and RAIA, (amongst many other institutional and civic) awards.”
